Fish Of The Month / April 2022

After a record-breaking March with five trophy size Bass reported the obvious question was will the streak continue? Those who put in the time did report some respectable numbers with most in the 1-1/2 lb. to 3-1/2 lb. range and only a handful slightly larger. At mid-month nothing of notable size had been reported. Finally on April 18th, FFC member Lou Benasutti reported the second largest Bass that he has caught.

This 7lb. 5oz. beast was taken at Chatham Square Pond with a Texas rigged chartreuse curly tail worm.

At month’s end Lou’s catch remained at the top of the list earning the title “Fish Of The Month” WTG Lou.
